Will I get paid to play on the team? No, this team is not a professional team. It is a developmental team for college athletes and others that want to further their development as soccer players which in some cases may be a future professional team. Note that the opportunity to play on this team is solely because of individuals and businesses willing to donate time and/or money to make this team possible.
What will it cost me to play on the team? Players will be required to pay a one-time (per year) $400 club fee if/when they earn a roster spot on the team. Any tryout fees paid would be applied to the club fee. Registration fee is $60 and that will go to the league for your league secondary insurance and coverage.
Will I need to buy my own uniform? No. We will be issuing a uniform that we will collect back at the end of each game or at the season to keep costs down.
When will training sessions be held? The current plans are for training sessions Monday & Wednesday 8:00-10:00 p.m. No training will be held obviously on game nights and other adjustments will be made as needed based on team schedules.

* NAIA is very sensitive about participation in professional teams. Our team is not a professional team (no paid players at all) and should not be referred to as professional or semi-professional, etc. for any reason. The same is true when speaking about our opponents–They should not be referred to as professional teams.

I am a U.S. citizen, but I am registered with another country’s federation as a soccer player in that country (because I played/trained in that country). Can I play on this team? For purposes of WPSL or UPSL you are treated like a foreign player and we need to review your situation on a case by case basis to understand what is needed to make you eligible to play here.
Will I have insurance as a player on the team? Players are required to have primary health insurance (through their family or employer, etc.) but the team also carries WPSL or UPSL secondary insurance that provides additional coverage for players participating in team activities.
Are there other times that I could be asked to participate beyond the game schedule and practice schedule? Yes, there may be community events, scrimmages, or other events scheduled during the season for the benefit of the team as a whole. We understand that existing commitments may conflict with unknown team activities and the coaching and administration staff understands that.
